American Cabinet & Flooring June 2012 Newsletter     Our Design Center Customers travel from far and wide to visit our 3,000 square foot Showroom located in Denver, CO. Warm and versatile, this facility was designed to help our customers get answers, find ideas, be inspired... you name it! We display eight different kitchen vignettes in various styles and colors so you can see how all the different elements; like the sink, backsplash and countertops all work together to create a unique look.    You will find samples of cabinets, floors, backsplashes, counters, and hardware so you can see how they all bring your design together. Our Design Specialist are always on hand to walk you through every step of your remodel project and also utilize 3D rendering software to design every kitchen so our customers know exactly what they're remodel project will look like upon completion. Come see our Showroom Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm!  Designer's Corner Shades of Grey According to the National Kitchen and Bath Association over the last three years there has been increasing trends in grey color schemes in the kitchen and bath. It's been so incredibly beautiful outside recently that looking around can't help but make you feel inspired. Everything, at least for the moment, is green and plush and everyone seems to be enjoying the new warmth.

I love bringing this freshness and brightness into a home. If you are planning on renovating your home this summer, take cues from the beauty around you. Trends this year in design are really reverting to the organic simplicity. White walls, re-claimed woods with pops of color using plants and personal decor. Bringing this design sense into your home creates a relaxing environment that doesn't feel contrived.

Amber Albrecht"The Future's So Bright..."

Whether they be painted, laminate, or thermafoil; white kitchens are hot right now and are only gaining in popularity. While woods still possess a very beautiful warm look, white is like a chameleon - it can be anything you want it to be. White can be modern and sleek, or warm and soft; it can be casual or formal. I personally love a basic white kitchen with it's classic appeal and timeless demeanor. It is the one color, yes I said "color"; that you can never go wrong with because lets face it.. everything goes with white!

Another wonderful thing white can do for a space is to open it up. Gone are the days when a kitchen would be dark and feel like a small cave. In these modern days kitchens are a place where we congregate and entertain. An ideal kitchen would be inviting and functional all at the same time. It is a place where we can both prepare a meal and entertain our friends and family but most importantly, it is a space where memories are made.
